thank you for your responses. i finally got through to the number i was given and the woman who answered the phone says the pharmacy should give me the prescription with the old style of prescriptions. i will try again.

i am a canadian citizen and a resident of greece. i dont work and am not eligible for ika. i have never worked in greece. i recently took a prescription to the pharmacy and they tell me i need an amka number and that my prescription type isnt accepted anymore. from what i understand, i shouldnt need...

Does anyone know what is involved to become a freelance worker in Greece? for example, doing freelance work for a company from another country (from home), billing them and what taxes would have to be paid here? Do you need to register yourself somewhere?

hello, we are in the planning stages of a trip to Belgium from Crete in December with two dogs in tow... any advice? we were thinking of taking the Anek ferry to Venice. hi, i am not sure what tests have been done, i havent asked, i will. but let's just say some pretty crazy behaviour is taking place. he has been treated by several doctors and the conclusion is 'dementia', unfortunately.
