Re: Getting rid of coins

Yes it's crazy! But it sounds like you went to the National Bank of Greece and not the Bank of Greece. They are different! The Bank of Greece is the Greek Central Bank and they do not have another branch in Chania - there is just one in town and it is on the next corner to the main National Bank of...

Re: Car tax for 2018

Maybe some of you should read this: http://www.chaniapost.eu/2017/09/29/uk- ... er-rights/
Sounds like you can get a flight from another airline that should be honoured by Ryanair?

Surely it's common sense that if a cure for cancer (as an example) was found then why hide it? The company would make billions would they not?

Re: Citreon 2CV

Back in 1962 I was given a lift in France in a 2CV van. The noise level was probably above the current action level to prevent hearing loss in health and safety legislation. I think the only thing they had going for them was that they could be completely taken apart and reassembled with a handful o...

Re: Know Your Customer (KYC)

I have just had experience of the KYC regulations and I thought the information gained might be valuable to anyone else who finds themselves having to satisfy their requirements. For those who are not aware KYC is part of the anti-money laundering DIRECTIVE 2005/60/EC subsequently amended by DIRECT...

If that starts to fill with water during the rainy season it can blow the main pool pump , which can be expensive to replace. People usually install a float operated drainage pump to pump out any rainwater ingress. ...
