Re: The Will of the People

I am sick and tired of remainer politicians saying it's the only deal on the table, have the EU walked away? Get back in with a new person who truly believes in delivering Brexit and tell the EU in no uncertain terms the ball is now in their court as the backstop is a no go. And as for some delays ...

Re: Boxes for packing

We were thinking the same, but in the end we just picked up boxes from re cycling bins, especially outside the large shops, also if you go into mini markets a lot have them in the back and will give them to you.

Re: Face Card

I tend to use Skype for landline calls abroad. You can load credit with a credit/debit card and, unlike Facecard, it doesn't expire. The worst that happens is it goes dormant if you don't use it at all for a long time but you can revive it. Just dial the number on a virtual keypad on Skype. You can...

Re: The Will of the People

You are correct that they do not have a crystal ball, Scooby but they do have a memory. Their predictions are based on what actually happened in their area when Operation Stack was implemented on a number of occasions in recent history. It was implemented then for reasons not related to Brexit but ...

Re: The Will of the People

It is going round in circles, there are the remainers who like to state "their" "facts" and likewise leavers. For every expert analysis on one side there is another expert against, I guess it comes down to who you may believe, whether you even care. This decision is not about now...

Re: Kent Report

No gainsaying that UK is in chaos. But lest there be any doubt about what's coming down the road read the report on the effects of a hard Brexit issued by the Authorities in Kent. If even half of this is true that then the conditions for civil disorder will emerge. I ask the Leavers /ostriches once...
