At least two of the aircraft gave no details, and were executive type jets, Learjet I seem to remember. They came from Northern Germany, possibly Hamburg, and when they landed they did not go to the terminal but turned off towards military hangers. I think that is all we are likely to know, or even ...

You might find that “plague island” is not as bad as you believe. Just avoid obvious areas like crowded clubs, beaches. Just like Greece in fact.

Foreign Office advice endorses all of that advice. You are able to get flights to Greece by a circuitous route, via Amsterdam, Paris etc, but if you want to travel on to an island, proof of permanent residence is needed.

Our teachers were all female, it being a girls school. I don’t remember having the opportunity to bunk off and drink coffee,so at least you would have had a full class.

In Salisbury, UK, a dog and a cat were regularly to be seen walking a dog and cat together on leads. I have to say that the cat looked pretty uncomfortable with the idea, skirting the wall when possible. Didn’t panic though. Mine would have.
