"Nightrate" upto end October (11 pm till 7 am) and thereafter also "nightrate" for a couple of hours in the afternoon (3.30 till 5.30) and from 2.am till 8.am. We have about 40% at nightrate.

Mmmm yes i thought there might be both opinions. I thought the minimum pump time was 8 hours a day..... All the pools in my area are kept full during the winter and looked after/maintained.
