Re: Road Tax

I just taxed a friend's car who is currently in France, through my on-line banking, just needed their Tax no and reg. They then gav...

The population of Greece has increased from approx 10.1 million to 11.1 million since 1988.
It was 7.7 million in 1950, so about 44% in 68 years.

Re: Eastern Crete

If you are an animal lover Cretans don`t treat there dogs very well most are kept chained or caged 24 hours a day! Well that's certainly not the case down the western end. We have a pro-active Mayor who is funding animal welfare clinics and free neutering programmes, as well as a police force who a...

I think the best one is Kostas in Kalyves. Very reliable, but I think you would be wise to book a timeslot as he's quite busy. He's opposite Florapunta going towards Armenoi from the EKO garage. I use Kostas in Kalyves, but not that one. I use Kostas on the road up to Kalami, on the right just befo...

No it's mainly project fear.
Dyson moved their production abroad to reduce manufacturing costs - nothing to do with Brexit as it was announced 15 years ago.

The exact words on the side of the bus were: We send the EU £350 million per week. Let's fund the NHS instead - Vote Leave Could you say exactly what the implication of that message was, Peebee? Warwick You CAN fund the NHS better without using all of the money. If I find €100 in an old pair of tro...

Re: Block on renewal of IKA books due to BREXIT

As to refusing renewal, in previous years I have tried to renew as early as December (a mistake) and even in January, only to be refused on the grounds that I was too early. My local KEP does not accept IKA books until early February. My understanding of the mutual agreement between Greece and the ...

Re: Post from the UK

We received 4 cards today (12th) - the posting dates in UK ranged from 5th to 10th December. Out of interest, what was the postage value. I got one yesterday with a £1.25 stamp on it. The cards I received today were all £1.25 but a couple of others which arrived previously were £1.55 - maybe due to...
