If so it appears I will not be able to obtain a bio metric residency card after 2020 due to my stay being less than 6...

She did make a comment in passing that there might be some confusion between "settled status" and "permanent residence". The interviewer asked her what was the difference and she replied that "settled status" was granted under UK law while "permanent residence&quo...

Re: Latest EHIC & Reciprocal Healthcare

Greek criminal checks are done via the Justice Dept - in Chania at the courthouse (Dikastiria). KEP at the courthouse did mine when I registered a business in Greece. Other local KEP offices were not able to do it at that time (around 15 years ago) but they may be able to now.

Feeling a bit like a mother who has left the children alone to play for a few days. Let's stop all the bickering and snid...

Overseas Voters

Many of us Britons living in the EU27 are disenfranchised because of the 15 year rule, but there are also many who have lived in Europe for less than 15 years. If this is you, make sure you are registered to vote! And remember, you have to renew your registration *every year* as an overseas voter. h...

Re: Latest EHIC & Reciprocal Healthcare

So you can’t just voluntary contribute? Doesn’t seem right and someone should ask the question to an accountant. I'm pretty sure the answer is no.
