Pireaus Bank

Does anyone have any more information?

Couldn't use Pireaus debit card in Inka this morning and when I presented my card at two cash machines, one Pireaus and one a different bank, was told that Pireaus are experiencing technical difficulties.

Re: How to become a greek resident

Yes, but make a search on the forum under 'residents permits' and you will find a list of what is typically asked for. Ours also took about half an hour to get. Take the originals of what is asked for plus several photocopirpes with you, as well as passport sized photos.

Re: bigblu - formerly Europasat, formerly Tooway

No I can't but Hitek have given me access to my usage info via Skylogic until, as they say, Bigblu have sorted out their teething issues. None of my emails to Bigblu have been answered to date.

Yes, HiTek have also helped me out and (unrelated) Bigblu sent an email last week informing me that they are going to be upgrading our service.

Re: May or October best for good weather?

I've just typed a long response and now it's disappeared  Anyway, I agree with GlennB, it really is a take your pick choice as we can have truly wonderful Mays and Octobers but also wash outs. I would suggest that late May and early October might be better bets than early May and late October.

I have continued to use them ever since, including two years ago, asking them to pack and deliver to us a cut glass decanter set which we'd just inherited. It sounds like you ...
