We did what Jean is describing two years ago. It cost us around €400. Once signed and witnessed with a Notary, you take the Contract to your local Registrar who registers it.

My advise regarding utility bills and because it suits me personally, is to opt in for receiving bills via email wherever possible. The Electricity company are great at sending them, with an English language option and it is very straightforward to pay them. I still receive my Water bills through th...

I don't know if free entrance to the Aptera ruins is for village residents only but it is worth checking, which I will do.

I fairly regularly text my daughter in the UK without a problem, using Vodafone. In fact it more often than not arrives with her immediately. Other than ensuring you have prefixed the number you are sending to correctly, I cannot think of anything to suggest. I hope that you can find resolution.
