The USA do have bases in Turkey, thats why they will protect their own interest (as always).

The USA also have a base on RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.

It just across the road from the SAS base that is """not there"""...

Fab Turkey has been begging the EU to let them join for years. It will never happen unless they give back the land that they stole from the Cypriots in 1974 when they invaded Northern Cyprus.
