Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

You clearly have not met my son and daughter Yorgo. - To even contemplate they would be manipulated by the Government, or that they have no backbone, is laughable. - The same goes for their friends. They are all educated, strong willed, politically informed people, and would certainly stand up for t...

Re: Crete off UK quarantine list

I made the same comment as you about people travelling to Kriti from the U.K. on another thread Chrissyg. I do hope the Greek Government does something about restricting entry to the country soon, otherwise over half term the island will be inundated with visitors from Northern Europe, - where the v...

Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

So true. Human nature is such that people do not want to admit responsibility for the mistakes they have made. The stronger, more emotionally developed people, find it easier to cope with such a situation and have the confidence to own up to errors. -The weak struggle and seldom get there. The U.K. ...

Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

There is now a question about the safety and correct procedures being carried out at a lab In Milton Keynes where testing is taking place. - Things are getting worse. It seems that even if ‘test and trace‘ takes place, the actual testing in the labs is not being carried out properly. On top of that,...

Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

Well.....Kriti is now off the U.K. ‘naughty step’, so over half term everyone from Tier 3 in the U.K. will be flying out to share their Corvid 19 with the Greeks! - Seeing as people are not self isolating when they should do, this will happen! I have seen the question asked in the U.K. on a number o...

Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

My goodness Yiorgo, are you saying you don’t believe Corvid 19 exists? I am not sure what you are stating from your last post. Firstly, your previous comments, (made twice) about not being able to see and speak to your neighbour....... Even in tier three people can meet up in a park in groups of 6 o...

Re: WHAT IS THE FUTURE FOR CRETE POST CONVID-19

Would you suggest a ‘London Garden Bridge’ or a bridge like the one Boris now wants to build between the U.K. mainland and Ireland Warwick? We need a sense of humour on here! There is a difference between optimism and reality Yorgo. I think Boris Johnson, amongst others, needs to learn that. - His b...

6,000 experts world wide. - A drop in the ocean?

Just making the point that it is a very small percentage of experts when the whole world is struggling with this problem, and everyone is doing research in to it.

It is a divisive subject chrissyg. Only a small number of ‘experts’ think that way at the moment.

Re: Residency

I hope you also sorted out your Piraeus to Crete crossing with your dog before you sailed Tom? I have only just read your post above, so I am too late to remind you that you would need a pet cabin on that crossing as well. I know some people leave their pets in their vehicles, but as your dog is bli...
