Re: After The End Game

I just don't know what to say. I'm hugely disappointed by Tsipras and Syriza. They were elected to ease Austerity and yet they have committed Greece to further austerity and selling off state assets at the worst time possible. It will be a firesale and a huge loss for the future of Greece. IF They h...

I've stopped coming on here much as I used to because of this problem. You sit for ages waiting or go off and do something else to come back and find it's "cannot open page" or "timed out". Sooooo frustrating!!!!

I thought the "Mugger" article was very interesting but I'm afraid I can't read the FT article unless I sign up for the FT.

Re: Chinese Food

We visited China and Hong Kong in December last year. I would agree that apart from a few local delicacies, the Hong Kong chinese food was very comparable to Chinese food in the UK and other european countries. The food in mainland china (apart from the Canton province which was more or less the sam...

Re: Pet Passports

This might be obvious but the dog must be chipped and I would have the vet check that the chip is still working before leaving home. Otherwise, Pet Passport and up to date Rabies vaccinations are all that you need as far as I am aware. Slightly off topic you should think about how you would like to ...

Re: Syriza Grants Legal Status to Gay Couples

I am sure there are plenty of gay Christians, Johnincrete, who welcome this move.

Morality has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity or any other religion.

Re: Which Bank?

My OH has used the Pankriti E-Banking system in English. Sometimes it works....... We have forgotten the number of times we have had to phone the bank in Kalyves or the headquarters to get things sorted out whilst trying to use it. Apparently the Log-in system is really difficult to use on a regular...

Re: knee problem with dog

Anne, I can't help you directly but have you thought of joining a Boston Terrier group on facebook? I joined a Border Terrier group and have received much good advice and help from the other members. Plus you see what other groups members' experiences are with their dogs. Many Border Terriers also g...
