Labour cost for tiling?

Has anyone recently had any tiling done? I'm trying to get a fix on what sort of price per square metre is normal these days. Don't need advice on techniques and materials, just some idea of a recent price per square metre for tiling. No rendering or waterproofing, just straightforward tiling. Thank...

Re: new topography for property

thanks everyone. i will ask my civil engineer if that will be the total costs for her part in the legalization. knowing i could receive fines for any things incorrect with my property. The question you need to ask is what will be the total cost to legalise, broken down into fines and fees paid to t...

Re: The Will of the People

You don't need to believe in conspiracy theories to understand that there is a relatively small number of people who completely control what happens in a country. And that small number of people are not necessarily our elected representatives. Almost the whole of the Civil Service is against Brexit...

Re: Legalising a property

When I paid the very reasonable sum of 1075 euros inclusive of engineers fees and fines to legalise my property that was built for me in 2006,the only parts that needed legalising were the tiled BBQ area and car port that I built myself, when I paid my fee to the engineer last week I asked if my pr...

Re: new topography for property

You have to be clear exactly what it is you are paying for. A simple topo can cost as little as 200 euros. Legalisation fees can be in the high thousands depending on what needs to be legalised.

500 euros just for a topo is high. If it's just for the topo.

Interesting. All the fuss around my area is about Land Registry. No-one is looking to shell out money for legalising before they need to.

Re: Legalising a property

...........Don't know Jeff, but every other Greek around here seems to be legalising their property even down to the family in front of our house getting the small church that holds about 10 people on their land legalised think it is more of a licence to print money for the government and a cash co...

Re: Legalising a property

so the reason for legalising a property was because the system was, and still is to a point, very corrupt. It does need tightening up for sure but sadly it falls with the house owner and there is probably no comeback on the notary, lawyer or developer, particularly after some builders/developers ha...

Re: Boiler Problems

If it's an immersion heater in the water tank attached to a solar panel as described by Kilkis, there is a tiny, tiny reset button on the front of the thermostat. I think it's actually a thermal overload cutout. It may look like a tiny red square on the front of the thermostat or it may be the same ...

Re: Legalising a property

its all wrong this legalising your property business. You buy a house from an estate agent or builder or whatever in good faith and then you are told sorry that is not legal and we want some money off you. Its disgusting really. I know somebody who bought a house from New Century several years ago ...

Re: The Will of the People

UK should hand Northern Ireland back to Ireland. Problem sorted. Another post-colonial mess. Seriously though, If we stay in the customs union, what benefit do we get from "leaving"? Anything? Seems like we needn't have bothered in the first place. The establishment always gets it's way......

Someone remind me, if anyone is still awake, what happens with the Irish border under the no deal scenario?

But what abut Greek law 4368, as discussed in this thread?: http://www.livingincrete.net/board/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11626&p=75062&hilit=4368#p75062 Surely we all still get healthcare via this route regardless of S1 and withdrawal agreement? Assuming of course we are legally living in Gree...

Re: Problems with Flash Player?

Totally agree. I used the MS Office suite for a long time, when it was much simpler, and became very familiar with all the menus etc. I then switched to OpenOffice as I just couldn't keep paying for MS Office upgrades. That took a while to get used to, but was relatively intuitive. My sister recentl...
