Does anybody have experience with this company. They offer internet without the need of a line, which I have tried to get fo five years. It sounds good on their homepage skytelecom.gr but would be nice to hear from somebody who have tried them.

A friend of mine wants to buy a villa in Plaka. They found a house with Minoan Properties.
As they do not know any lawyers, Minoan suggested a Vasilis Maropakis in Kalives.
Is he known to anybody here and can he be recommended?

I went to the restaurant Monasteri in the old harbour ( just after the mosque) two years ago on New Years Eve. They had live music, lots of greek families and the food is always good there.

Can anybody tell me what it will cost to buy and keep a small used car in Crete?
I know it will depend on size and age etc, but I would like to have an idea as I think that even long term rent will be a lot of money in the long run

We share a pool of 40 square meter, 1,60 meter deep.
The use of water during a year is 39 cubicmeter. This is of curse after it has been filled from the start of the year.

You can see the price of the water in your area on your waterbill.

We have a house in Tavronitis. We have been there in february once.
All the shops are open. Most of the tavernas are closed, but the one in Tavronitis was open.
