Re: Water filter taps

We looked into this a couple of years ago but bought a Brita filter jug from AB instead, who also stock the cartridges. Hardly bought a plastic bottle in the last 12 months! Very pleased with it.

Re: Bird shooting season

Yes Bob. Lead shot frequently lands on our garden, house and even us. Guns are pointed up at the sky. We have seen birds dropping out of the sky from our windows. Lots of Shooters around Paleloni, Xirosterni and Drapanos area. I love Crete but this is one of a few things that I hate!

Re: The Will of the People

Well whatever you say Kamisiana, there are so many companies suffering or planning to move from the UK at the moment, even successful ones.... What do you put it down to?? Seems a pretty unprecedented exodus! Not to mention the Brexiteer billionaires jumping ship! So what's the reason then?? Enlight...

Re: Driving Licences

So any guesses as to what will happen if you can't swap your licence until well after Brexit because of the 185 day rule (and a daft date on resident certificate)? Will it be illegal to drive in Greece or will there be 6 months grace?

Re: International driving permits for UK drivers from 28 March 2019

You can't. You've got to go back to Brexit land and queue at a post office but not any, just main ones.

Re: EHIC for Pensioners

Just a thought. Is the UK the only country in the EU which automatically gives free healthcare to residents regardless of whether they've contributed or how long they've lived in the UK? I get the impression they think the same applies in other countries!!! It seems very wrong to not be covered for ...

Re: A serious Question

IF reciprocal healthcare/EHICS are withdrawn, this is a huge problem. For full health insurance even in a public hospital, the costs are astronomical! You can say goodbye to a couple of thousand euros a year for 2 people over 60. If anyone has found a much cheaper option then please let us know but ...
