Re: Barking / unattended dogs nuisance

Yes, I k ow all about the relationships of the police, especially here in Armenoi. It's not a bad problem, really,it's just the few times the dog barks in the very early morning like 0230, 0300, 0330 etc,it's so powerful. I'll have to wait until his wife gets back from Athens and make some suggestion...

Re: Barking / unattended dogs nuisance

Looking back through the pm's, I see that it was sent by the OldCodger, but he's not been active since Feb last year and I didn't save it to one of my hard drives, which was a shame.
I'll see the local rep later today.
Thanks everyone

Barking / unattended dogs nuisance

Some years agor - no more than two, someone sent me a mail with an information sheet that was written in English and Greek, informing owners of nuisance dogs barking and unattended dogs, what the potential consequences were if they were reported. I lost the mail and consequently, the info. If anyone...

Hand Built Trailer - registration?

Does anyone know of ow to register a hand built trailer, or if there is indeed a process to do this?
I haven't done it yet, but if I get the right department and it isn't too expensive, I will build one for my quadbike.

Re: Lawyers for Health Insurance problems

Thanks, Warwick, I will try that tomorrow morning. This is definitely not a question for an accountant, scooby, this is a point of law question, but again, if the greek way prevails, then nobody will know the correct answer, just take pot luck!

Re: Car Mechanic

I think the best one is Kostas in Kalyves. Very reliable, but I think you would be wise to book a timeslot as he's quite busy. He's opposite Florapunta going towards Armenoi from the EKO garage.

Re: car trailers

Thanks, Phil. After a half hour research, I got the answer that it must have a certificate of conformity. Which I obviously don't have, so ill sell it. I am sure some enterprising farmer will come up with an ingenious cunning plan!

car trailers

I bought in my trailer from the Netherlands no problems, as it pulls only 750kg and has one axle, runs on the same number plate as the car and doesn't have to be registered. Now I have to pay import duty on my quadbike so I took it to Souda customs as arranged, no problem. Then they said what about ...
