Pet carer / baby sitter available Irakleio

Very experienced pet carer (20+ years) available in the Irakleio area for dog walking, feeding and general pet care, and giving medication. Able to do occasional overnight stays.

Also available to babysit day or evenings, again with occasional overnights available.

PM if I can help.

Re: Hotel rooms for spring/autumn

Crete isn't yet geared up for out-of-season tourism so the choice will be much more limited than early or late season. In addition, some of the places that are willing to stay open do not have any form of heating and are probably best avoided. However, if you specify the area of interest (Crete is ...

preferably around iraklio so I can help out. I think it would be a mix of shared and single, as long as it's twin beds. Say 8 rooms.

Hotel rooms for spring/autumn

Hey all,

A friend wants to bring his photography group over and has asked me to look for accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, or possibly half board. Does anyone know of any hotels that could do a reasonable rate for just after or just before the main season for around ten people?

Hotel rooms for spring/autumn

Not sure if this is the right place so please move if not! A friend has asked me if I could help him find accommodation for a photography group that are interested in coming over here. I'm looking for a hotel that could do bed and breakfast at a reasonable rage outside of the main season for a group...

Re: Certificate of Residency and buying a car

Thank you all.

Yes, we have an accountant here who is familiar with UK tax law as well as Greek. She's been very helpful already. And I'm aware that while I have all the money, I also have all the debt!

Certificate of Residency and buying a car

Good afternoon all, Sorry for yet another question! We need to buy a car. Is a certificate of residency required even if we have a lease and electricity agreement? We will need to get the certificate anyway but do the children need them too? Do we need to take a bank statement as proof of income and...

Re: Making friends - especially as a woman

We're pretty much in the centre of heraklion. Hopefully once the girls start school (the European one) I'll get to know some of the mothers.

Our downstairs neighbour is single as is the letting agent. Our landlady is great but she's really busy and has her own friends already. #pitypartyforone

Making friends - especially as a woman

Hi all, We've been here on Crete for just over a month and, I admit, I'm getting a bit lonely and homesick. One thing I hadn't considered was how tough it was going to be to meet other women. My husband has already made some friends - including our downstairs neighbour and our letting agent, plus so...

Around Christmas time we are planning a visit back to the UK, probably for about two weeks. What do people do with their pets when they go away?
