Apologies if this has already been asked. Should biometric photos be passport size and not the slighty larger ones that were needed for the Greek driving licence.?

The documentation says passport size.

Re: Olive oil briquettes

@annabanana - suggest you talk to Manos Rodanakis at the agricultural shop next to the traffic lights. I doubt if he sells them, but he may well know who does, and his English is very good.

Re: Another e-mail scam

Strangely I got an email from Alpha Bank this morning warning about various scams. One warning paragraph was: If you receive a message from a supposed courier company in order to make a payment for parcel receipt, while you do not expect any relevant package receipt. Warwick Not just courier compan...

Re: UK Transition Letter

I posted this because I have a question. Is it saying that I MUST apply for a UK EHIC now? I thought that I could apply for a Greek EHIC and that it was illegal for me, as a permanent resident, to apply for a UK card. If you are an S1 holder you apply for a UK EHIC on that basis. You are only entit...

Re: New Lockdown

The other option (if you have a Greek sim) is to send an sms to 13033 each time you want to go out. The format is:

Number of reason (as listed in the forms quoted above), space, surname, space, first name, space, address.

You will get an instant reply - permission.

Saves faffing about with papers.

Re: electric

On the front page of the bill - rhs, just above the list of charges which starts with ΔΕΗ. The words you are looking for are "Επόμενη Καταμέτρηση." - the date is to the right of the words.

If you find the thread boring evansmr might I politely suggest you just ignore it? Re: Vehicle Testing

From asking around, it seems that the IKTEO I intend to use near Kavousi for the KTEO, you just turn up. There's a choice of 3 testing stations more or less next to each other. (The one in the middle has been recommended by several people.) Tim Tim, if you intend to go to Patronakis (which I think ...
