Re: Vehicle Testing

From asking around, it seems that the IKTEO I intend to use near Kavousi for the KTEO, you just turn up. There's a choice of 3 testing stations more or less next to each other. (The one in the middle has been recommended by several people.) Tim Tim, if you intend to go to Patronakis (which I think ...

You beat me to it, @ros21. This is excellent news, and we should all be grateful to those who have been working so hard on our behalf.

Re: Advice on UK residency rights in Greece

Maybe I should have been more clear. British in Europe were not, of course, involved in the WA negotiations, but they are and have been involved in pressing for the details to be clarified by all nations involved so that we are all able to access, in good time, the required information. The approach...

Re: Advice on UK residency rights in Greece

No-one knows yet, Bob. The British in Greece facebook group is definitely the place to watch for information; as they are affiliated with British in Europe, which is at the heart of the negotiations about rights, that is where I will look! The British embassy has failed us dismally so far, and I'm n...

Re: E1 payments for 2019

Our accountant has already submitted our return, and we have the clearance. First payment (or full payment) listed as the end of July, as usual.

Re: Taxinet number

Your accountant should have your Taxisnet log on details, Howard - ie the username and password that you need to access Taxisnet services.

It is necessary to have credit on the phone, though, otherwise it won't work.

On question 3, it is my understanding that you need another form, but how this works with the SMS isn't clear.

I gather it only works from Greek mobiles. If you are using a UK one you will need one of the paper options.

Unnecessary. If you don't like what Kilkis or anyone else posts, don't read it - in the immortal phrase, scroll on by. Some of us are interested in the minutiae of this situation, some are not. Some of us are scared witless, some are not. Please be kind - no-one needs any more negativity; there is q...

Re: EOPYY Prescriptions

Our doctor is "private" as far as I know, but we get the discounted rate via our S1 forms. Ditto cardiologist, who is definitely private. Forms generated via the system, printed out and signed and stamped by the doctor. No receptionists around here! Yes, we've had handwritten prescriptions...

Re: EOPYY Prescriptions

We have a good doctor, thanks, Warwick, and know that if we get there early we can be seen without encountering too many other people in the waiting room! I suppose that one day online prescription ordering will be possible here, but I'm not holding my breath.

Re: Phishing

We've had several to our landline lately; some "originating" in the Netherlands, some in Germany, some in Greece. All cut off, apart from the last one which purported to be doing some sort of EU survey!
