That is probably a good thing since a large structure might involve you in building permit....... ......... and, possibly, additional property tax. If done without a building permit there's a high risk of the property being declared "illegal" with, at some stage, paying for legalisation. ...

The reason we are looking at road all the way is the ferries from with minoan and anek do not have any selection for a van. Only minibus and campervans. I know people who have travelled several times with ANEK/Minoan and while I'm not sure of the sizes of the vans they drive I do know they don't al...

I read something (where I don't remember) that banks in the UK are closing unproductive branches - almost exclusively in rural areas - and not even leaving an ATM which makes it very difficult for anyone without transport or computer, especially in any of the numerous places lacking public transport...

Personally we will be travelling slower as will be towing an old caravan as a box trailer containing some of our worldly goods so definitely won't be doing 180 kph on autobarns . Apologies, Houmeri.
