Using internet banking I was able to highlight the deposits in my account summary. I was then given the opportunity to save the details as a PDF and I mailed these to my accountan...

A young (and rather foolish) relative is honeymooning in Santorini. Since we will be missing the wedding we are considering a flying visit. Has anyone done this trip from Chania?

Re: Coming home .

Our adopted village - Koukounara, above Kissamos - has several derelict properties that the locals describe as belonging to Turkish people (muslims) who were 'relocated' in early20th century. The properties are untouched since those times. Has anyone read 'Birds Without Wings' by Louis de Berniers? ...

I had passport, photo driving licence and passport sized pic. Some confusion transferring class of vehicles for which I'm qualified ...

We pay DEH by direct debit. Is it safe to assume that the discount for prompt payment has been applied to the bill?

Re: Property nerves

Our estate agent proved to be 100% trustworthy. We used a lawyer that he recommended. She had represented clients of his in the past. She proved to be 100% reliable and was patient and understanding. You will need to be patient as the bureaucracy will try the patience of a saint.
