Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

I was sad to see Diane Abbott leave This Week as she was passionate and a good balance to Portillo's stuffiness. Both very knowledgable. Yeah , she is always well worth listening too , she has a remarkable breadth of knowledge of the law , history , and a fierce intellect ..she is one of the hardes...

Re: Latest EHIC & Reciprocal Healthcare

Interesting post on the facebook page British in Greece re AMKA and health care ..I copied and pasted it for those who don't FB... State health care with an AMKA number. Re: Prorogation of Parliament - Petition

Toebs, I have given you hard irrefutable facts and you have responded with how you personally see things. Thats is fine as it is your opinion and I respect that. I, however, prefer to stick to the hard facts on what has just taken place and will not respond in lengthy discussions on things like: &q...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

So you suspend parliament at a time when those in power should be working 24 -7 to sort out this mess...
And I thought the whole point of this stuff was to preserve and bolster the sovereignty of the British parliament but an unelected PM has reduced it. I'm off to look at me wine grapes .....

Re: Timber Merchants

Yeah ,I use the timber merchants up near the airport they have .good stock but sometimes it's hard to find just what you want and then someone to give you a price ,until you have loaded it on the truck and tied it down ... I think it's the same company that used to be next to the traffic lights at t...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

At the end of the day the tory party ,the ERG , and B Johnson don't care about the damage they are doing , to the country , to the people , to the UK's reputation on the world stage ...they are only motivated by greed and a lust for power, and a continuation of the old school establishment that they...

Re: Package Delivery from UK

Is it commonplace for UK companies to deliver products to Crete. Would a large parcel for example be delivered to a main post office and not directly to your house? I was thinking of sending garden furniture and an inflatable hot tub to Crete and wondered if anyone had similar experience of compani...

Re: UPS (Amazon UK) office Chania

With UPS or any courier that does not have a Greek delivery service ..you can sometimes find who is handling the Greek end or Cretan end using the tracking number...or phoning the last UPS office that dealt with it maybe in Athens ....other wise it's ring or call in at all the couriers in your local...
