Yes ,it's not the rain it's the humidity ...sultanas are very ( and wine grapes to a lesser extent) prone to mould in humid conditions ...just now it is hot and dry perfect conditions the fruits have formed and the bunches are dense the gaps between the fruits are closing ..so if you have many strem...

We had a reservoir built this end of the Island a few years ago just a bit to east of Sitia ,on the left of the road as you pass Piskokefalo. before you get to Maronia .as far as I can tell it's never had any water in it... Hi jack thread alert ...sorry Clio..

Well it seems the general opinion is that the drone and the battenburg flags are sommat to do with enfia property taxes ...nothing very interesting at all ......

Just to finish off.....Today got a call from the ladies in the Souda road office, the licences, mine and my wifes are ready , simply come in and exchange UK licence for the Greeks ones. Took just over 2 weeks so must be improving the service. That's all folks.... So you kept hold of your UK licence...

OK here's a thing, all around our village 6 or more red and yellow paper laminated flags have appeared nailed to the road in the verge even stuck on a friends flat concrete roof .They are A3 sized and we think they are something to do with GPS ...any one seen these before ? They just happened... no ...

I think the water shortage is going effect more places in Crete .Here in the far East we have a hosepipe ban and reduced pressure, so we are using shower water to flush the loo and water plants and the fruit trees as I have used the rain water that we collected over the winter.I also bought some bot...
