Re: IKA Renewal Heads Up

I am just collecting all the relevant paperwork for the blue permit. They ask for proof of residence. All house related papers and bills are in my husbands name. Anyone any ideas what will qualify as proof of residence in this case?

Re: Residence permits.

Thank you Warwick. As always you are are a reliable source of info in a world of disinformation. I often post queries to this site knowing that you will reply and that the info you give is impeccable.

Re: Residence permits.

I mistook my permit for a permanent one and thought it had no expirey date. Having read all the posts I now see I need to update my temporary one to a permanent one. However, my temporary one was issued in 2009 - so is now way out of date (if it only lasted for 5 years). Do you think that will be an...

selection packs

Does anyone know where I could buy a selection pack? I have a girl who still believes in Santa and he always brings one - except this year I can't find them anywhere!

Homeless in Hania

Does anyone know if there is any provision in Hania for the homeless? The latest report I can find dates to 2015 when there was only provision in Heraklion.

orthopaedic doctor

Does anyone have any good recommendations for an orthopaedic doctor in Hania area. Either IKA or private. It is for a child with an issue with his wrist. I imagine any orthopaedic doctor would be ok if no paediatric one in the area.

Re: Famiy certificate πιστοποιητικού οικογενειακής

It used to be possible to get a Greek ID if you were born to non Greek parents who were long term residents of Greece if both parents lived legally in Greece for 5 years. Also by attending school for 6 years it was possible to get a Greek ID. Then they ‘Froze’ the right to do this.Do you know if the...
