Re: One Drive on not-so-smart Samsung phone

I had the same problem and couldn't find OneDrive in the list of applications.

The solution I found was to go to Play Store and search for One Drive and then press UPDATE. That stopped the message.

Re: Organ donation in Greece

Last autumn my wife had surgery here and blood donation wasn't even mentioned. Perhaps in Chania now they know it's pointless asking Brits to find donors? Bob. I had 2 operations at Hania Hospital this summer & blood donation wasn't mentioned. Maybe it depends on the operation and whether extra...

Re: Rats

We've had success with the large plastic rat traps What do you do with the rats when you've caught them in the traps? Several years ago we were looking at mouse traps and the assistant suggested cage traps so that we could take the mice and set them free somewhere else after we had caught them! We ...

Re: Reading Recomendations for Maud

Warwick, I think you have the wrong book there, The one about the man obsessed with Icarus was called something like 'Flying with Icarus'. I agree with those who say it was not very good, I disagree with you about the purpose of the book. Having met the author I believe the purpose of the book was f...

You disappoint me, John.

I was looking forward to you posting a selfie sitting in a trendy bar drinking something colourful out of the Pyrex jug!

Judging by what I read in the UK press we 'oldies' are responsible for everything that is wrong in the UK whether we voted for it or not.

Re: Oh To Be In...Somewhere WARM

Clio,

You will be pleased to know that it is not warm in Kalyves. I'm sitting here in my winter woollies, considering putting the heating on.

I was wearing my winter coat in Hania at lunchtime and there were tourists wandering around in shorts & t-shirts!

Re: Vehicle Circualtion Tax - A Dire Warning

I still can't follow the logic of removing the plates if it is not to save circulation tax. What about all the hire cars -- without plates on --parked up in compounds awaiting the new season? Is that not a way for the owners to save tax, and if not, what's the point of removing them in the first pl...

You can remove the link now, Martin. I didn't become upset when you asked this question before - I was cross when you posted a link to Avrio on another website without even telling me, let alone asking permission. I do it the way that I do it because, amongst other things, I like to know how many pe...

Re: UK drivers licence renewal

I have just looked at the UK Gov website for renewing my UK driving licence at 70 and it says that you have to do it using your Government Gateway ID. What the **** is that? Anybody know? Daisy I have a Government Gateway ID but I don't remember why or how. Look at this page http://www.gateway.gov....
