Re: Mask or no mask

Margarita, I had reead this but on the other hand here is a quote by Nikos Hardalias in today's Xaniotkia Nea ( https://www.haniotika-nea.gr/ti-allazei-apo-simera-stis-quot-kokkines-quot-perioches/ ) "Τα δύο νέα μέτρα που ανακοίνωσε ο πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης για την πανδημία του κορωνο...

Re: Mask or no mask

In the linked article it mentions "According to newspaper ethnos, the mandatory use of masks in-and outdoors is for Categories 3 and 4."

Re: Mask or no mask

As from 06:00 Saturday it is mandatory to wear a mask at all times in all public areas, indoors and outdoors, in all areas of the country. Are you sure? Re: Level 1 for Chania. Level 3 Herakleion New guidelines

Re: UK car to Crete Import cost?

Even if you can import the car cheaply an E320 would be ludicrously expensive to run in terms of road tax and luxury tax (if resident in Greece). Don't do it.

Re: WHAT IS THE FUTURE FOR CRETE POST CONVID-19

Convid-19 has devastated the Greek economy, but in particular Crete.

Actually, I think that Crete is doing way better than many many parts of Greece.

Re: Cap on university places for medical students

Foreign students pay a full market rate fee

I don't think that EU students pay more than UK students. It's expensive enough anyway compared to many other EU countries where universities are essentially free.

Re: E-paravolo - how to pay?

As far as I can see you can pay an already generated e-Paravolo using the payment code on the form using online banking

Just checked with my NBG account and you can pay e-paravolo online

Re: E-paravolo - how to pay?

I honestly don't know what could be easier than walking up to a counter, handing the person behind the counter a piece of paper and some cash and getting the paper, duly receipted, handed back. It's like buying a tube of Smarties in a mini-market. That's what I remember. But I doubted my memory of ...

Can't you pay an e-paravolo at a post-office? I seem to remember doing so not that long ago.

Re: Is driving with flip flops legal?

As far as I know you are not allowed to drive in flip flops in France because they could get in the way of your pedals. Barefoot is legal.
