Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

Thanks for that, Warwick and Keltz. Scooby, what is the point of just posting links that some of us can't, or can't be bothered, to access? Kilkis has mentioned this before. If you have something to say, say it. Don't just post links. It's boring if nothing else. Use links to back up your opinion bu...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

I’m not getting involved in some tit for tat nonsensical argument over what and who is right or wrong. I am actually more moderate than comes across. I prefer to listen to people like Frank Field than Boris or Corbyn. As Frank Field is not in power, and neither is Corbyn, what they say is not very ...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

Scooby said "If you believe things that are written and blown out of proportion then that is your choice, nothing I or anyone else could change your mind. Why do you want workers rights and environmental protections to stay in the legally binding WA?" Do you believe things that are written...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

I can understand people who voted remain being against Boris as he was the architect of the referendum defeat, but when I see him being branded far right / facist/ racist etc it does make me chuckle. Add liar and misogynist to the list and have a laugh at these then. A quick google and you could be...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

The problem with Workers Rights is that they have been taken out of the Withdrawl Agreement where they are protected and moved into the Political Agreement which is not legally binding. Labour are right to question this. I think they are better being in the political declaration. Please will you ex...

Re: I smelled a rat, and I found a rat

Scooby might not be angry but I am, and so is the person who wrote this very long post. Shared from a private Facebook group, with permission. It's amazing how the press goes on all the time about how angry the people are that Brexit hasn't yet "got done". Remainers like me aren't allowed ...

Re: The Will of the People

Yes, I thought I heard someone saying there were two Hunts left after everyone else had been eliminated but I may have misheard. Nice to see the EU gravy train rumbling along https://www.rte.ie/news/europe/2019/0621/1056634-eu-jobs-negotiations/ there are certainly more than a couple Hunts amongst ...

And I have seen reports of between 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 people. Who should we believe? Depends on your mindset and your bias.

"Claims by Brexiteer broadcaster Julia Hartley-Brewer wrongly suggested people could sign the petition more than once with the same email address, while newspapers like the Express claimed more than half of signatories were from outside the United Kingdom. ........ But parliament’s petitions co...

Re: Life Certificate

KEP in Agios Nikolaos signed and stamped my "proof of life" in December. I returned it to the pension provider with a note to explain who KEP are. No problems with that for the last two years. Give them a try, nothing to lose,
