Re: Direct flights from the UK to Greece from 15th July confirmed.

I thought that a ventilator made things worse and should be avoided? If, and a big if, a bed is available.

Re: Direct flights from the UK to Greece from 15th July confirmed.

A quote from Chania Post: “According to the head of the health authorities of Crete, Lena Borboudaki, the island can cover 155 mild and moderate cases in its hospital structures, while if deemed necessary, they can reach a total of 328 beds. As for the cases that will need hospitalization in ICU, t...

Re: Let's alter history

Colour is a lack of respect, which is under mans control, but man has always chosen to be ignorant. As you say, history should be kept and remembered to learn from, but so far, man has a terrible memory.

Re: New case of Covid19 Chania area.

Visiting supermarkets today, I’m surprised how relaxed everything/everyone now is. I almost felt stupid wearing gloves and a mask, but I shall continue to do so for my own protection. Tourists numbers seem higher and distancing is non existent.

No surprise, the door is open to Hell, which is the same for all countries. Personal lockdown starts.

Re: Coronavirus. All Change.

When the virus ‘first reared it’s ugly head’ I bought gloves and masks immediately, regardless to the incorrect information that masks will do nothing. It really is a case of look after yourself whenever possible, there’s too much corruption and incorrect advice from the governments and scientists.

Re: DEH Electric bill

Assuming it’s a Greek bank, you may have to phone them to set it up, they need to update your new passport and if required you may be able to scan and send a copy.

Re: British hopes of summer holidays abroad quashed!

I have sensed a genuine concern for our well being, and suspected that Greek tv was showing what is happening in the U.K. The Corvid 19 statistics here are appalling. It makes me embarrassed to be British! Which is why I predicted way back, looking at reports, that the UK will be the worse affected...

Re: A New Case

With me, having gloves on is a reminder not to touch my face, and there is a way of taking them off without the exterior of the glove touching your hands. After I discard my gloves I then wipe my hands on antibacterial hand wipes that I keep with me always, just to make double sure. Many years ago I...

Re: A New Case

I was around Jumbo and Lidl today and saw quite a few tourists, the hire car, pale skin, no mask, no gloves and shirtless full bellied sweaty body tightly holding a case of cheapo beer gave it away. At first I thought it was my reflection but it couldn’t be, as I drink wine. I think it best I be mor...

Re: Nothing has changed on here then
in the UK you would know virtually all of them without seeing the options.
Yes, in fact I would prefer the show not to have the easy first five questions, starting the game at the £1,000 bracket is when the fun starts.....although I guess it gives me time to tidy the house whilst t...
