Re: AIR COOLING FANS

I have a good surface thermometer that gives instant, accurate temperature readings. On a very hot day last year I took the readings of 3 south facing walls at midday, one dark brown, one beige/yellow and one completely white. No prizes for what was the coolest but the results were - dark colour 48C...

Re: AIR COOLING FANS

Sorry, I meant when the humidity is low, below 40%, this week was about 25% and I suffered with dryness so my humidifier (bought from the mainland) added the necessary humidity and getting it back up to 45% which helped me immensely. Distilled water from Lidl is better than tap or bottled water for ...

Total waste of time and the air temperature never dropped. Outside of air con units, shield the house as much as possible, invest in decent ceiling fans ...

Even so, it’ll still be down to the police officer who is questioning you why you are, where you are, and he or she will probably have a different opinion as to what has been currently announced. Tread lightly folks.

Re: Lockdown rules get tougher...

So I take it with retail shops opening on Monday on a click & collect basis, and 3 hour time limit, this means we can go out of our municipality to shop? Saturday is for exercise only. All confusing, it’s enough to drive one to drink. :?

Re: Postal addresses

Most people I know have got a friend to phone for an ambulance. The friend has then met the ambulance somewhere they can easily find, village square, town hall, supermarket etc, then guided them to the house. That's what I did when my late wife needed an ambulance and I couldn't leave her alone to ...

Re: Postal addresses

If you are stuck in your home you could either send them your map co-ordinates which is easy using google maps ...
