One of the LIC site gurus will give you directions to the second hand shops -I'm afraid I don't know the street names; the two I know best are both near Splanzia and the other is near the bus station as someone posted earlier in this thread. We don't sell books in Lidl car parks -we just offered to ...
We have four or five large 'Jumbo' bags full of books, written in English. The majority are fiction -classics, crime and travel but a few are big 'coffee table' hardbacks. Ideas please for disposal, second-hand shop in Hania has too many. Thanks.
Thanks Filippos, but his number must have changed as the message says 'the number you have called does not correspond to a subscriber'. If anyone else knows how to contact him please let me know. Thanks JC
Thanks Brigitte, We have found someone locally for this trip but it wasn't easy. I'll send you a private message (pm) with an email address so we can keep in touch as we'll certainly be needing someone again before too long.
If you want to use IKA, google - eoppy dermatologist - and look down the list for those in Hania. I did this earlier in the year and got the problem sorted quite quickly. If you are happy or able to pay, try dermatologists in Hania, Crete and take your pick.
Adonis Synnefakis did some for me; his shop his at the start of Koum-Kapi, just that side of the big car-park. Call him on 28210-42414 and explain what you need. I usually email my work to him so he can get it ready for when I go to collect it.
What number did they call you from? I had a call this afternoon, to my Greek mobile, from 0044-0800-232076 but they cut off when I accepted the call. It comes up an an invalid number when I try to call back. Is this just coincidence?
