Ideally, we'd like some kind of heating for the winter and also an outside area for the dog in the summer (either a decent sized balcony or ...

Hubby's had no water all day and the electric has been on and off all day. He was out with the dog with the storm hit Malia. Apparently it lit the whole of Malia up and was amazing - sorry no photos due to the dog being desperate to get back home to safety!!

They were probably using it in the UK before they moved to Crete or they got their first order delivered to the UK and got someone to send it on or bring it over.

As far as I'm aware, your tax number stays with you for life.

For IKA, I would assume that if your current book has expired you'll need to go back to IKA with the correct forms (think they are now 'S' forms now and not 'E').

I'm sure your money will also be ok...

We also have nothing but praise for the IKA system. My husband almost died last year and he received excellent treatment at Heraklion and also after care from our local IKA doctor. I'm sure if you've got plenty of money, travelling back and forward to the UK just to collect a prescription or go for ...

Can I ask why you've decided to try Crete, especially when you're saying you're available from end of October (end of the tourist season), when you've been in Spain for 10 years...

Thanks for this. We've heard some people say that each jag could cost around 50 euros so you saying you got the 'whole lot' for 35 is quite reassuring. We did get told that as we have taken in a stray that we could go to a vet in Heraklion (he has links to the welfare place outside Malia) to get the...
