Re: Driving Licences

Oh, I should add that whilst my application cost €30, the total fees for Andrew came to €118 PLUS €10 for the medical, €10 for the eye test and about €5-€10 for photos. So, all in all for Andrew, €148 approx.

I see that your post has not been responded to thus far. I do not know any American citizens (apart from military) who live here and so cannot advise. Perhaps best to ask your Embassy?

Re: We have moved in!

I am alerted to the readness of both bills via email. The eletricity company send their email in Greek, followed underneath by it translated into English. I simply then follow the links provided. Cosmote send me an email in Greek but when you press the Green Pay link, you have the option to change t...

Re: Retirement in crete

If you do a search on this forum for what is required (up to the date of the UK leaving the EU) to take to a Police Station in Crete in order to obtain a residency permit, then you will see what will be asked for and proof of a residence in Crete is one of the documents.

Re: Retirement in crete

Hi and welcome to the forum :) . Perhaps some of what you've read is because we have been living in limbo for two and a half years waiting to find out what our staus will be post Brexit.
