Re: android tv box

Thanks for that - I'm just awaiting the arrival of a tv dongle for my laptop so I can install kodi on that and then try out all the different builds before installing on the box itself. Appearance wise it looked great and perhaps with a bit of mucking around I don't see any reason for it not to work...

Re: android tv box

It turns out that the beast is basically a skin which sits on top of kodi itself. I had to delete all settings which sets the box back to it's default settings and then you just start again. Every day is a school day......

Re: android tv box

Do you know how to uninstall this? It looks quite impressive but nothing works when I try to launch Sky sports, or movies, tv whatever. It doesn't get listed as an add on so how do I get rid of it?

Re: android tv box

Does this get round the multiple installing of different packages for different things? At present I use Dexter TV for sports and was told I needed Phoenix for watching films. I don't mind installing a lot of packages but if one "build" could do it all that would be pretty amazing.

Re: The Trail of the Troika

Thanks for that, a bit long but very interesting. Nice to know the people in charge still have their heads stuck in the sand.

Guardian headline for tomorrow is "Europe takes revenge on Tsipras", allegedly putting forward tougher reforms as payback for the "no" vote. we can't have people behaving democratically now can we? Paul Kirby from BBC Europe reporting: "There may only be four pages, but if t...

Re: The End Game

Particularly worrying is the statement about action on non performing loans. Will this include mortgage arrears, as I seem to remember the troika were quite keen on tackling that particular issue. I hope it doesn't include this as the result of this would be catastrophic for this, or any government.

Re: The End Game

I find it absolutely galling that Mario Draghi, the man responsible for "massaging" Greek figures to let them into the Euro is now in charge of the ECB and trying to wring blood from a stone. The mouse in charge of the cheese doesn't even come close to this appalling scenario.

Re: Greek newspapers

If you read the following article you'll realise why so few newspapers and news channels tell the truth. Very interesting article, and makes me feel somewhat vindicated by choosing not to have bought newspapers for many years now. My reason for reading Greek newspapers online is an ongoing attempt ...

Greek newspapers

Is there such a thing as a Greek newspaper that is not anti Syriza? I have been following the recent developments both here and online and have come to the speedy conclusion that Tsipras and co are on a hiding to nothing if you believe the Greek papers. I know in another thread that Clio was outrage...

Re: Carry On Shrinking

Personally I'm all for this as I find people with carry on bags the size of Belgium more than a little irritating. I also find it staggering when I see people in an airport donning multiple layers of clothes because their cases are too heavy as well. Traveling light is the way to go although a forme...
