Be careful! I thought this but when I checked my license I found it not to be so. If you have the license with the photo the it only valid for 10 years from the date of issue. This has caught many people out.

On a brighter note Sitia airport is now accepting international flights. The first carrier to arrive is Arkefly, the Dutch arm of TUI.
