Some of my family live in one of the larger cities in the UK, and all they can manage at the best of times is 1.5Mb. They called again today, offered me 21 euros discount every 2 months to keep my broadband connection with OTE - I thought it would be rude not to accept the offer !!

I had no problems buying a diesel car, although obviously it was not in stock and had to be shipped over.
