Don't ask me how, but I've finally managed to get the google toolbar including the wrench and other things, and this allows the option of translate under options - tools. Only trouble now is that a search in google translates itself into English, but I can live with that until I find a solution. Wis...

Auto translate

Since upgrading to Firefox 4 I've lost the handy auto translate facility.
It used to appear just above the main window, and I set it to translate Greek which was very useful. How do I get it back please?

Did your Epson not have a basic OCR program and, if so, did you try it with Greek? Yes it did, but I inadvertently removed an all important file when removing the software for my Epson printer the electrician blew up for me! Not been able to get the relevant software back as it was installed by the...

Yes I know I won't be able to translate directly, just looking for something that will produce Greek and not a load of squiggles, and do all the other normal work in scanning.
Maybe the answer is to buy a separate OCR programme, although I think they are fairly pricey.

Help needed with choosing new scanner

I am confused with all the choice of scanners, and would like some professional help please. I need to be able to scan documents in Greek, and then use OCR to translate them. A few scanners state OCR is included in the package, but how do I know if Greek will be included, and more importantly will i...

Well, we are lucky in it taking minutes to visit IKA when we are in town, and unlucky in having expensive (but good) coffee!

Firstly, for clarification, we do not have a hospital here as such, only a public health centre, where the doctor is nothing to do with IKA. Secondly, the only IKA doctor on the island is a cardiologist, not a GP. The visits did involve a prescription. I've yet to find out if the country doctor char...

Asked in KEP about this and was told no payment was necessary. My visit to doctor cost me €3 before Christmas, and my husband was charged €5 last week. He was told by the doctor that there is no system for frequent visits, or for being over 65 and of pension age. I'd appreciate any official news to ...

Paying for visits to IKA doctors

Has anyone come across the above, i.e. paying €3 or €5 for every visit to an IKA doctor, for treatment, repeat prescriptions etc. ?

My local gardening expert assures me your fruit are wild Cydonia, a sort of quince, and only the animals can eat it.
We should start a quiz ;-)

In 2004 I was quoted a figure of 12,000 euros when the car was only worth £1200. This is not a story passed on, painfully true I'm afraid, and all because they did not have a picture of the model in their book. Maybe times have changed
good luck!
