Having successfully partitioned my new hard drive, I now need some more expert guidance to back up the contents of my internal disk to one of these new partitions.
I have the following programmes - Acronis True Image 9.0 and Paragon Drive Back Up 8 special edition.

It's 'be3 πepeΒoAa' apparently - that's as close as I can get without the proper alphabet installed.

I do actually want to put the operating system on one of the partitions, thus avoiding having all the updates to do again in the event of a disaster.
Can this be done simply without the 'ghost' you mention or do I have to buy a programme to do it?

Have not followed your instructions yet as I have been busy, and am a little worried by the following when I click the folder System Volume information on the ext. HD - 'is not accessible' and 'access is denied'.
