Re: Ink cartridges re-filler

THanks guys, but I am not convinced yet. I don't know what the HY means. They have a naff search engine on their site. I can search for the part or complete part number and it comes up with 0 items found. I have seen the 88 C9393A. I'll send them a mail and see if they respond.

Re: Ink cartridges re-filler

Thanks for that Filippos. I just looked at their website and they seem to deal only with Epson refills. If I do a search for HP or 88XL, it comes back with not found. The big problem with HP - and they were fined an enormous amount of money back in 2006 - is that every time you switch on the machine...

Ink cartridges re-filler

Does anyone know of any shop that will refill inkjet cartridges? My HP88XL cartridges will run out shortly, and they're pretty damn expensive to buy new. There used to be a few shops that could refill them, they also used to make the cartridges announce their full capacity to the printer, but they a...

Re: New leader for Brexit?

OK, here's my three (with explanations) 1. New PM. Ian Hislop - OK, he's probably not conservative, but my, does he have knowledge on all things British, has broad shoulders and a superb legal team. 2. The Labour Party. Any Orang-Utan - no explanation necessary. 3. Eddie "The Eagle" Edward...

Re: Corned Beef - Ouch

Put a stick of semtex under the can. Does not hurt your fingers one bit, though a bit more messier in the end. Stick it in the microwave. Again, a little mesier, especially when you have top scrape all the corned beef from the insides of the microwave. I have a great "Heath Robinson"corned...

Re: New leader for Brexit?

What can I say that is allowable on this site. I am really P*****d off that Roy Hodgson was chosen in the first place. Still, no use sulking, we're out and that's it! Let's get on with life and a new leader eh?
Nice to see you back again.

New leader for Brexit?

So Britain is looking for a new leader to take them out of Europe.
Give the job to Roy Hodgson, He did a marvellous job of getting England out of Europe this year!

Re: Every now and again ...

I was driving down a narrow country lane in deepest Dorset, when a courier overtook me at speed, looked at me, then he shouted "PIG"
I shouted back at him, "What's the matter with you?, blXXdy arxehole".
Then I ran over this pig. (Your Honour!)

Re: Aging retirement.

Just a comparison, In Holland, the pensions age is also going out of control, but here, you have to work for 50 years, as you only get 2% per year you have worked in Holland. Now I will not get my Dutch pension until 9 months after my 65th birthday. That means I cannot claim my Dutch pension until J...

Re: Greece and the Eurozone

Varoufakis was interviewed by Steven Sackur on Hardtalk late last week on BBC1. (They showed it three times no less!) I would imagine you can get it on iPlayer. It was an extremely interesting questions and answers session, where he was very frank about what went on in his short time in the governme...

Re: Referendum

Hmm, Loretta, you seem to have real problem with that nice guy, David don't you? I don't mind really, as I'm not there. He has a job to do, but ultimately, it's up to the UK Public to decide the in or out vote. It shouldn't concern most of the people who have been in Crete more than 15 years anyway,...

Re: Registration certificate and adequate funds

I would think that statement is designed so that when you come to Crete, you will not be a drain on the government coffers, ie welfare support etc etc.
I did look in depth at this some time ago, but couldn't come up with any specific data on their requirements.

Re: A journey of a thousand miles...

FYI, here in the Netherlands, the €100 note is not dispensed at ATM's any more. Markets will not accept the €100 note. Nowhere (except the banks) will accept €200 or €500 notes. Every shop is fitted with anti-fraud machines and they are now checking even the €5 notes. The bank I am in will not accep...
