My father, an English teacher in the UK state school system all his career, was topping up his income (to support a large family) with private tuition in the 1950s and 1960s.

Roll on the destruction of a beautiful, peaceful, desolate place, it seems.
I just feel utter sadness at the future ruination of one of my favourite places where my wife and I and friends have spent many magical moments during the past 20 years.

Well, ha ha, I've beaten the lot of you - I have sent him 2000 used notes and he is giving me $2 million - so there ! (I hope he hurries up with the dosh because that was all my life savings !)

The far tip of the cape has been designated a military no-go area for a very long time and, as far as I have experienced, has never created any disturbance or blight whatsoever. In fact, I am not even sure what is up there - maybe a boat or two.
