It might just come to that if the price the co-op pays for oil ( 1.90 euros per kilo) gets any lower and the price of Diesel gets any hlgher .... jeff

Before you do anything about shipping your bike to Crete,you must get all of the paperwork via the Greek Embassy sorted . There is loads of info about importing vehicles into Greece on this site. .. jeff..

I don't think the heating oil is subsidised it just has a lower tax levy , as is the case in England with the red Diesel used for tractors ,diggers. and any diesel engine not used on the road. I read somewere that the plan with the heating fuel here was to tax it the same as the road fuel then the h...

Big Grub

This time of year I open up the compost bin ready to spread it on the land. And I always find these fellas. Can be up to 3" long. Never seen them in England. Anybody know what they turn into? I usually throw them to the hens so they turn into eggs. Jeff http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad350/...

Yes Bobscott and jean I have it confirmed. Jango from down the road just popped in (with a large plate of lamb and pasta ) to ask me if I would rotivate his vegetable plot in the morning. And he used the word Krinos when he saw the photo that I posted. So its official - in this village, anyway.
