Re: Nothing has changed on here then

Unlike the post that said( you condescending Bi...

Re: Alarming rise in cases on Crete.

Bobscott wrote A bit like the ERG in the UK parliament perhaps? Ultra nationalism. Fanaticism of all kinds is just what it says - absolute utter dedication to a cause, whether that is right, left, or centre and brooking no opposition. Often resorting to physical violence towards opponents . Good God...

Re: Alarming rise in cases on Crete.

This is the end of the holiday season in Crete. Yet it is quite likely these people gave the virus to each other having brought it with them from the U.K. and the real fault is with the British authorities for not enforcing proper track and trave procedures. Expect both U.K. and Greece to introduce...

Re: New measures announced

There was a wedding at Lake Kournas on Saturday attended by 1000 people. In short, the police from Chania, Rethymno and Herakleion turned up to try and turn back 950 people and failed! They were either told to go away or decided to go away themselves at 1.30am. The party continued until 5am!!! ... ...

Re: Nothing has changed on here then

Yorgo, some forum members by their own admission (like to stick their head above the parapet) as was said in the the thread "The name of this forum is Living in Crete" Quote I always work on the principle that if you stick your head above the parapet you can expect it to get blown off. By s...

Re: Alarming rise in cases on Crete.

Once again Warwick is correct. Transmission chains need to be stopped, and test and trace needs to be effective. The problem will always be though that there will be some people who only have the virus mildly. They will not want to lose money by not working, so will be reluctant to take part in tes...
