The Microsoft Network Monitor (MNM) as per SatCure's link is actually quite a good tool. Tons and tons and tons of data but in it's basic form you cannot see the wood for the trees so it's nigh on impossible to interpret anything from it. I have a network here with 12 devices on it and the sheer vol...

Why are you amazed? Want to place odds on whether there is a workable backup and recovery system in place on those same official systems 1 year from now? It might well be announced as going to have one but I mean one actually there and being used daily. Slim to none I'd hazard a guess at. I remember...

I'm fairly sure I know what it is and what the solution is but just right now I can't test it and prove it In theory you need to be administrator of the machine and I found it better to be in Safe Mode so start your pc and whilst it is booting tap F8 this should give about 8 DOS type options (text n...

Note for Carolina,...... Just info to be aware of. Part of the Kalikratis documentation (and this is from memory only) said there were 1200 existing KEP's and there were to be a further 1000 added and they were to become e-KEP's. (all or just the 1000 new wasn't made clear) As I understood it they w...

of course the huge security holes in IE6 would be of no concern to a bank..... but lets get to the crux of the matter. Hold back a bit before going ahead with this. I've done it on an experimental machine and it appeared ok then 24 hours later I realised all my music audio files and music video files were playing at double the speed, full volume and no sound. This applied to whatever file type and whatever playback ...
