We initialy thought "buy" but as time has passed and the world has moved we are now thinking "rent" the only thought is ...its never yours and one would grudge spending money on a rental, just the British train of thought in a slightly different culture.

Thanks for all the input folks, the figures I quoted have been gathered over 4 years and kindly given by many other posters all living in Greece (mainly Crete)from several sites.
