Thanks for that info latsida and filappos ..i had a look my normal flights from glasgow(for 2) would be around £550 to £650 and more importantly be a 4.1/2 hr flight ..the best i can find for feb or march is £810 to £960 which to be honest i could live with ..but what i cant live with is a 14 hr fli...

I've been watching the temp in both glasgow and iraklion, and iraklion has rarley dipped below 50 deg and often been as high as 70deg all through jan and feb ..must be a lot colder up in the mountains. p.s. there been a fairly consistent difference of 10 to 20 deg between the 2 cities and ...

i have visited ag nic 3 times a year for the last 3 years(and booked again for april :D ) and can confirm that elounda and even ag nic are both considered to be on the slightly expensive side, in comparison to other areas of Crete. ...and that also applies to property prices.
