Which phone and which scheme?

Soon, I will have to pay for my internet access. Currently I don't have a land line. Is there any company who will supply a deal to cover land line, internet and mobile phone. I call UK and Nigeria often and want it to be more frequent.

Re: Referendum (2) SPLIT from "Too good to be true?" post

There is the old but relevent joke: How do you tell if a politician is lying? His lips are moving! Quite obviously, we have been told many lies and have been subjected to statistics given a false slant. We have many inductrial and financial "leaders" who (naturally?) state the view that is...

Re: Photos

To me, the brilliance of Phil's photos is that he saw what many of us do not see and he is quick enough to take the photo. It's like the artist who paints a landscape, not like a photo but with some part or with colours that seem impossible to the ordinary eye but correct in the whole. I would like ...

So, on the day, they will play rounders, hockey, cricket and rugger among other sports, not in match...

Re: Windows 10 automatic update from 7 or 8.1

I did not install Windows 7 on my PC because two programs would not have run. I found this out from a program I downloaded free. Is there any equivalent to check the progs on my Windows 7 laptop?

Re: A Lesson for the Leaders of Europe?

Bill Wilson, who creted the biggest Sunday School in the World in one of the roughest areas of America had a motto: "Won by one". It has a general priciple that each one of us can do something and this story tells what one person has done. How many of we comfortable expats would do the sam...

Re: Easter Saturday/Sunday Catholic cathedral, Chania

I am not sure how exclusively relying on the Bible isolates you from the influence of the established churches since the Bible is simply a collection of manuscripts that the established church of the day decided would be included? I believe that the Bible is the living Word of God. Thus, when I stu...
