Ok, now the topic has been corrected, does anyone know if there is a gym in Kalyves?

There's a pretty good gym in Kalyves about 250 metres along the road to Armenoi, on the left above the shops next to the bike shop and opposite the mini-market.

Suggest you take a look at the one in Vrysses before making a decision, the owner there is used by a lot of physiotherapists who send their patients to him for correct exercise. I've been to both gyms and found the owner of the Vrysses one far more attentive and helpful

I agree, Danny and my physio recently recommended that I go there. I used it several years ago, before it moved to its (then) new premises but didn't mention it because:
a) Alan asked specifically about Kalyves and
b) because I got fed up with driving to Vrysses and back several times a week, even using the shorter back road route.

THanks, guys. Incidentally, the gym is not for me it's for my partner as she's a gym workaholic for 3 - 4 hours in the mornings.
She went to the one in Kalyves, but wasn't impressed with the opening hours - she's very much an 0600 (Yes in the morning!!!) type, for exercises and they don't do that in Kalyves. Also at €45 per month, isn't the cheapest!
Anyway, next time round, we'll look into Vrysses, it's not that far from Armenoi.

Sorry, no clue and even if I remembered it would be out of date info. I doubt that any local gym will open particularly early but I could be wrong.
Google map ref. for the 'new' premises are (I'm pretty sure) 35° 22' 42.53" N | 24° 12' 09.39" E. If you can't find it there you'll be close to the town hall (250m) and they'll be able to direct you. It's called Ifaistos/Yfaistos.

He charges 40 Euros per month and opens at 10 ish. Don't think you'll find any gym open early unless you go to the ones in Chania.
