DENTIST -LERAPETRA

Postby evansmr1 » Thu Aug 28, 2014 5:00 pm

I am in need of a Dentist. Spotted on an expat web sight Costos Kondopodis from Lerapetra. I have his telephone number 2842022122. However I cannot find any details of him, e.g. address, on the web. Does anyone know of him.

I need a dentist in either Ag. Nik or Lerapetra that is recommended.

Mike,

I sold dental equipment for a while in the UK. My wife was a dental nurse. The best dentist we both have ever seen (and I include Harley Street dentists in this) is:-

Giannis Tablas in Agios Nikolaos.

I don't know the address but if you take the road from the Square to the harbour, then take the first on the right, go up the hill and again take the first right. His surgery is on this corner above Interamerican.

Or, if you want another option - we cannot recommend highly enough Manos Kastritsis in Sitia. 6944-191940/28430-26444. A Papandreou 12 - the dual carriageway leading to the sea. We are, or were, total dentist phobic and are now quite happy about dentist visits. We've both had root canal/crowns done by Manos.

Cleo, Thank you. But I take great exceptions to your comment

I thought that the comment was very rude.

I am well aware both in Greek and English the name of my nearest towns.

I had checked Yellow pages, he was not listed, I also looked at the site that you advised. Again could not located the Dentist. I even did a search on his name, again nothing.

So why do you spell it as Lerapetra in your message?

You hit L instead of I three times and didn't notice it?
I sympathise with your poor eyesight. Does [alt][+] make the text larger for you? I often have to use this shortcut myself.

Typing in capitals is generally regarded as shouting. I don't think using a bigger type face or bold counts the same? I think Satcure was being sarcastic and using the enhanced bold typeface to emphasise the point?

Typing "L" instead of "I" once is a completely feasible mistake. The keys are quite close together. Typing "L" instead of "I" three times in the same post tends to suggest that the poster really thinks that the word starts with an "L" despite protestations to the contrary? There are times when people make the same mistake repeatedly. I virtually always type "teh" instead of "the". That seems to be a left-hand right-hand problem. The left hand gets to the "e" after typing the "t" before the right hand has hit the "h". Some typos are genuine. Some possibly not?
