Was it a Dansette so-called portable wind up machine I wonder :)

Nothing as modern as a Dansette. Our machine was still called a phonograph, an HMV almost identical with this one

Why do I feel smug? I'll be there in 4 weeks! Yayyyy!
Leaving this cold, damp, bone chilling weather behind permanently. Ill be at the Apikorno at the next coffee morning. Shame I will miss the Almyrida boot sale though, I am devastated! Still, looking forward to being part of the Apokoronas community, though.

Don't worry. There are around 15 every week in the area, or at least it seems that way.

Hi Warwick, I do get the newsletter every month from Margaret and do see quite a few. It just happened that the one in Almyrida seemed to be described as a "Mega"one. I've got loads of stuff to sell when I get there. Who knows, I may even be able to recoup the money I spent on the Container being shipped over there!
Anyway, see you when I get there.
Alan
