Just to let folk know that we visited the OTE office in Xersonissos yesterday with Lynn and TODAY she has had her phone installed!!!! Well done OTE!!!!! We're off with her tomorrow to get her modem etc.....so expect updates from Lynn anytime!!!!!!!!

It's great here in the East isn't it?
Same thing happened to us,we went to OTE for the phone connection and they said maybe a week, but the guys arrived the next morning.

We got ours within a couple of weeks, too - not only that, but the man installing the poles (we live in the middle of nowhere just outside Sitia) helped with translation between us and a neighbour, too!

A big Scottish welcome to Crete to you both, i hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.

I drive through Malia everymorning..not Saturday or Sunday tho on my way to work in Iraklion so if u r up at 7.00am ish u can wave to me ...im the guy in the red seat leon....bring the coffee lol

Chances of us being up at 7am just now are slim! Maybe in the summer when we're working one or both of us will be up then!

If you're ever around at a 'sensible' time let me know and we can meet up! We're not far from the main road!
