Heraklion Airport bus stop

We will be flying into Heraklion Airport and would want to take a bus to Neapoli. I have checked timetables and it appears that the bus from Heraklion to Agios Nikolaos would go past the airport and go through Neapoli. Can anyone tell us where the bus stop is at the airport and how far we would have to walk from the terminal. Any info would be gratefully received.

Come out of the arrivals building and walk to the cross roads with the traffic lights. The stop is on the dual carriageway, out of the airport, about 50 mtrs from the lights.

Probably about 200 -250 mtrs, in all, from arrivals.

Just to clarify it a little, when you cross to the main road, Agios/Heraklion, there is a sharp bend (almost 90 degrees) you go round this corner and proceed 50 mtrs. One further point, the bus stop is on the right for journeys to Ag Nik, you drive on the right in Greece. I used this bus a couple of times to go to Ag Nik, and yes it stops in beautiful Neapoli.

Do not get off at the Latsida stop though ,because you have to run across the main road and they always get up speed and overtake there just before the tunnel.There have been quite a few accidents and the bus stop was demolished a few years ago by a lorry.
We always go to Neapoli ,or you could get off at Voulismeni, not that far to walk back.

Thankyou all for the helpful replies. Christine...your point about crossing the main road is well taken....we were warned about this last fall when we were in Latsida. The thought of trying to sprint across the road dragging suitcases strikes fear and terror into my heart Getting off in Neapoli and taking a taxi to Latsida is the only way to go after travelling for nearly 3 days.
