Almost impossible to choose a favourite, but the colours in the Akrotiri volcano are very attractive. To me, anyway.

Yes, he is immensely irritating isn't he? When I moved to Crete I thought of setting up a web site showing photos of the area. Got as far as registering the domain name. I then looked at Jean's and Filippos' sites and decided to go and sit in the café instead. I blame them completely for my increase in weight and that is a heavy burden for them to bear.

I am feeling very guilty about this and to make up for it I'll take you on a walk where I last took photos ( http://www.west-crete.com/dailypics/cre ... -23-14.php ) and I'll even let you carry some of my equipment for exercise's sake. How about next Saturday?

We'll also take stuff to make frappé so it won't be all too wild.

I'd love to take you up on the offer, Jean, but sadly my back seizes up completely if I walk any distance now. Also I am not sure I would stand the g forces getting to the moon?

So do I. When I was a student I worked in a hospital laundry so discovered a lot about hospitals. Later, when I was doing research, I used to teach physics to preliminary year medical and dental students. The two experiences gave me a deeply ingrained desire to keep as far away as possible from anybody connected with the medical profession. So far I have managed to mostly keep to this but I guess I might have to give in one day.

Thanks.
If you look at gallery 27 you'll see the 'volcano', 4 down in the left column.
